Class Introduction

Celebrate the Mid-Autumn season with something extra special—meat-based wagashi!


In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to craft 4 different beautiful, pet-friendly Wagashi using simple, minimalist ingredients. Perfect for gifting, or just a cute treat at home. No prior experience needed—just come & join us for a fun, fuss-free session!


All of my classes prioritize on hands-on session where you can learn from scratch and follow the same steps when you get home. All snacks are meat-based! No flour, oil or additives used.

Class summary

This 3-hour class covers:


  1. Introduction to meat-based wagashi: key ingredients and essential tools
  2. Learn how to cut, prep, and handle ingredients the right way
  3. Step-by-step demo on making a gentle, pet-friendly wagashi skin
  4. Handcraft and decorate each elegant wagashi piece by hand
  5. Tips on basic packaging and proper storage
  6. Recommended suppliers and where to source your ingredients
  7. Open Q&A session to wrap up!


Each student will bring home:

  • Your own handcrafted set of wagashi mooncakes, beautifully packaged
  • A full set of class recipes (both printed and digital)
  • Skills for life — so you can recreate these treats for your furkid & friends anytime at home!
